Meet Brandon Mondesir, O.D.

Brandon E.B. Mondesir, O.D. is a residency-trained Optometric Physician providing a full scope of primary eye care for your entire family. His areas of specialties include pediatric vision, specialty contact lenses, Corneal Refractive Therapy, and the management of vision conditions with the use of traditional or state-of-the-art techniques. As an active member of the Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians, Florida Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association, Dr. Mondesir is dedicated to bringing you the latest eye care innovations in a professional and ethical manner.

Dr. Mondesir is originally from Canada, but has considered Central Florida his home since 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario. He earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2008 with Honors in Low Vision and Professional Distinction. During his optometric education, he attended clinical externships specializing in low vision, glaucoma, primary care, contact lenses, and pediatric eye care. Immediately following his Doctoral studies, he obtained an additional year of clinical training in primary eye care with an emphasis in ocular disease as a resident at the Hudson Valley VA Hospital in Montrose, NY. Dr. Mondesir practiced for several years in a variety of optometric practices prior to founding Modern Eyes at Alafaya in 2020. Dr. Mondesir provides personalized and professional eye care to meet each of his patient’s individual needs.
